This is a great opportunity to join an established and experienced Neurosurgery practice treating patients with spine, brain and peripheral nerve conditions. Advocate Condell is the largest healthcare provider and only Level 1 trauma center in Lake County, IL. A nationally recognized acute care hospital, Condell offers a full spectrum of medical services. This 273 bed hospital also established Lake County's first and only comprehensive Trauma Recovery Center.
- Join 3 experienced Neurosurgeons
- 5 APP's support inpatient, outpatient and first assists
- Q4 Hospital coverage-Level 1 trauma center requirements for response time
- Stealth and BrainPath equipment at Condell as well as the O Arm for navigation
- In office C Arm for post operative x-rays and PT on site
- Office triages patient contacts Mon – Fri 8AM – 5PM. Providers available M-F during office hours and on call as scheduled
- EPIC EMR
- Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with physician-led medical group and embedded service line
- Leverage access to DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, streamlining clinical workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review, editing, and signature
- Experience an environment that provides safe and equitable care for all patients
- BC/BE and completion of a Neurosurgery residency from an ACGME accredited program
- Niche interests will be supported in addition to participation in Neurosurgery coverage requirements
