Atrium Health Neurosciences Institute-Neurology (NIN) is seekingBE/BC Neurologist to join our rapidly growing health care system located in the Charlotte- metro area. Seeking a neurologist who wishes to practice a comprehensive scope of Neurology and has particular interest in building an academic careerto join a well-established and growing academic Neurology Department atAtrium Health Neurosciences Institute Neurology in Charlotte, NC. 

The Neurology Department at Atrium Health is a network of 70+ neurology providers that supports 15+ care locations across the greater Charlotte region.  Atrium Health Neurology leads the Carolinas in advanced neurological care with treatment, research, rehabilitation and specialty programs and provides a level of expertise unmatched in the region. We are national leaders in the development of quality improvement and clinical outcomes programs in the neurosciences. The growing academic department brings exciting opportunities for innovative patient care, team-based care models, teaching and research.

Highlights

·                     Join a well-established Neurology Department  

·                     Clinical practice will focus on a comprehensive scope of Neurology but ability to focus a subset of time on subspecialty care is supported

·                     Desirable location.  100% outpatient.  No inpatient/hospital responsibilities 

·                     Academic opportunities with faculty appointment with Wake Forest University. 

·                     Resident and medical student teaching

·                     Growing academic department with new 4-year Charlotte campus of Wake Forest School of Medicine to open in June 2025 brings many exciting growth opportunities.
