- Gastroenterology and Hepatology

- Full-time, faculty role with appointment subject to Dean's office approval
- Inpatient and Outpatient
- Office hours are M-F 8:00a - 5:00p
- Call is proportionate to group GI providers
- Endoscopy, Reading Motility studies, Hydrogen Breath Test interpretation, and other evaluations
- EPIC EMR
- Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with physician-led medical group and embedded service line
- Leverage access to DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, streamlining clinical workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review, editing, and signature
- Experience an environment that provides safe and equitable care for all patients
- MD/DO Degree and ACGME US internal medicine internship and residency
- Completed 3-year ACGME US gastroenterology/hepatology fellowship
- Provide case logs for core and non-core endoscopic procedures (2 years), including motility studies (Endoflip, Bravo pH, Dilations, Gastric interrogations for stimulators if performed, esophageal and anorectal manometry, Ph study readings)
- BE/BC in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology
- Valid unrestricted North Carolina Medical License or eligible to apply
- Valid DEA licensure
- Current ACLS and BLS certification required
- Previous experience reading motility studies and overseeing studies performed.
