Description & Requirements

The Associate Program Director (APD) supports the Internal Medicine Residency Program by contributing to its educational, administrative, and clinical missions. This role includes 0.5 FTE dedicated to teaching, scholarship, and program operations, and 0.5 FTE for clinical duties, primarily in the outpatient setting. The APD will also serve as an inpatient attending physician on the faculty service for 6–10 weeks annually.

Training and/or Experience Required
Minimum Requirements:
  • MD or DO with board certification in Internal Medicine by the ABIM or AOBIM.
  • Minimum of three years of post-residency clinical experience in same or similar academic setting

  • Experience with simulation-based teaching and assessment.
  • Record of scholarly achievement
