- Oversee the development of all educational programs and their success
- Assist GME and UME leaders in ensuring resources and access to teaching environments are maintained
- Oversee development of faculty through mentoring, evaluation, and feedback for promotion and tenure
- Prepare the core residency and any associated fellowship programs for ACGME site visits and the UME program for LCME accreditation visits
- Chair the Clinical Competency Committee
- Support education related committees and activities
- Oversee GME and UME budget
- Develop, monitor and report on educational outcome measures
- Build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders to advance the departments goals
- Work closely with Chair to set goals, scope and direction for the department
- Participate in additional meetings, activities and duties as assigned
- Clinical responsibilities to be mutually agreed upon
- EPIC EMR
- Be part of an integrated nationally recognized organization with physician-led medical group and embedded service line
- Leverage access to DAX Copilot, an AI-powered clinical documentation tool integrated with Epic, streamlining clinical workflows by generating draft patient notes for efficient review, editing, and signature
- Experience an environment that provides safe and equitable care for all patients
- Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician
- Prior administrative experience required
- Leadership experience in matrixed organizations and reporting structures preferred
- Must be adaptable to change and committed to strategic growth for the educational mission
